Fanvina 2011 Aftermath and Anime Atsui

As many said, the event was HOT, but it was too literal XD. The second day of the convention, the surrounding forests were set on fire (they say we had six intentional fires around the city at the same hour/day), so everyone had to evacuate the place to avoid being choked to death by the smoke.
Gladly, nobody was phisically affected, but the cosplay competition had to be interrupted. The event could have been perfect without these fires, but hey, I have my hopes next year will be better (during 2010, we had rain, which also ruined the event). Too bad all those water pokemon cosplayer couldn't do shit about the conflagration XD.
But yeah, the event was wonderful. Quilpencil (the and duet) had a really succesful weekend; our art was well received by the fans (Arthas, I don't like you, but you are still the number one on sales), the ambience was pleasant, and our neightbors were very kind (my happy greetings to and everyone else I missed to mention) and overall, way better than last year in terms of order and variety. My greetings and thanks to Marduk and Fanviña staff for the event.

Como muchos dijeron, el evento estuvo HOT, pero fue demasiado literal. El segundo día de la convención, los bosques circundantes fueron quemados(dicen que hubo seis incendios intencionales en la ciudad a la misma hora/day), así que todos tuvimos que evacuar el lugar para evitar la asfixia por el humo.
Afortunadamente, no hubo heridos, pero la competencia de cosplay tuvo que ser interrumpida. El evento pudo haber sido perfecto sin estos incendios, pero hey, tengo mis esperanzas de que el próximo año sea mejor (durante el 2010, tuvimos lluvia, la cual también arruinó el evento). Que mal que todos estos cosplayers de pokemon de agua no hicieron una mierda por el incendio XD.
Pero sí, el evento estuvo fabuloso. Quilpencil (el duo de y ) tuvo un fin de semana muy exitoso, nuestro arte fue muy bien recibido por los fans (Arthas, no me caes bien, pero sigues siendo el número uno en ventas), el ambiente fue agradable, y nuestros vecinos fueron muy amables (mis felices saludos para    y todos los demás), y en general, el evento fue mucho mejor que el año pasado en términos de orden y variedad. Mis saludos y gracias al staff de Marduk y Fanviña por el evento.
